Dr. Tim Truong, D.O., FACOP, FAAP

PEDIATRICIAN

Dr. Truong is a board-certified pediatrician in the Bay Area. Dr. Truong received his bachelor degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California-San Diego.  He then attended medical school at Touro University – College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2006.  After medical school, he received his residency training in pediatric medicine at Oklahoma State University Medical Center and St. Francis Children Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Dr. Truong finished his pediatric residency in 2009 and worked at Pacific Coast Pediatrics and Watsonville Community Hospital in Watsonville, California until 2015.  In June 2015, Dr. Truong opened Rainbow Medical Center in Milpitas.  He is experienced in pediatric inpatient (hospital) medicine as well as outpatient pediatrics.  Besides the up-to-date scientific evidence-based approach to prevention and treatment that he offers to children and parents, Dr. Truong constantly looks for new approaches in the treatment of pediatric conditions, both traditional and nontraditional.  He believes that medicine is an art, and a pediatrician is a child-advocate who must continue to learn new knowledge to foster children’s health and success at home and in the community.  Dr. Truong is married with two young children, and is also a meditation-practitioner.  He also loves martial arts and currently teaches meditation and Integral Tai Chi for free at Compassionate Service Society.  He hopes to share his knowledge with all parents and children so that both parents and child can enjoy success together.
